Quatre articles de magazines télé ont été publiés, nous spoilant (juste un peu) le début des 2 premiers épisodes. Voici une synthèse des résumés.

Épisode 1 : Doki doki doubutsu land (L’excitante terre des animaux)

Étant zoologue, Yamato organise des expéditions en forêt pour faire découvrir aux enfants le monde merveilleux des animaux. Mais au cours d’une de ces expéditions, il perd son porte-bonheur. Plus tard, il le retrouve près d’un cube gigantesque et remarque que son porte-bonheur correspond à une forme gravée dessus. Il l’insère donc dedans et est transporté dans un autre monde.

Là-bas, il est réveillé par quatre créatures mi-hommes (ou femmes) mi-animales : les Zyuman. Il apprend qu’il se trouve à Zyuland et qu’il y est parvenu en insérant son Cube du Monarque (son porte-bonheur) dans le Link Cube. Mais très vite, il se fait accuser de vol. En effet, il existe six Cubes du Monarque. Cinq sont en la possession des Zyuman et le sixième était porté disparu… jusqu’à se que Yamato arrive. Il prend peur et retourne sur Terre, suivi des quatre Zyuman. Mais à son retour, il découvre que son monde est attaqué par des envahisseurs extra-terrestres… N’acceptant pas que des innocents souffrent pour rien, Yamato et les Zyuman s’allient contre cette menace et deviennent les Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger !

Episode 1 : Doki doki doubutsu land (The exciting animal land)

Being a zoologist, Yamato gives tours in the forest to groups of children, so they can discover the wonderful world of the animals. During one of these tours, he loses his lucky charm. Later, he finds it near a giant cube and notices that his lucky charm has the same size as one of the shapes of the cube. He inserts it inside and is transported into another world.

There, he is woken up by four half-men (or women) half-animal creatures : The Zyuman. He learns that he is in Zyuland and he was transported here by inserting his Monarch Cube (his lucky charm) in the Link Cube. But he is accused of having stolen it. There six Monarch Cubes. Five are with the Zyuman and the siwth one disappeared long ago… until Yamato arrives. Scared, he goes back to Earth followed by the four Zyuman, only to find it under attack… Not accepting innocents suffer for nothing, Yamato and the Zyuman team up against this new threat and become the Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger !

Épisode 2 : Kono hoshi wo nameruna (Ne sous-estimez pas cette planète)

Malgré une première victoire contre les Deathgalian, les Zyuman perdent un Cube du Monarque dans la bataille et ne peuvent donc plus rentrer à Zyuland. Yamato, se sentant responsable de la situation, leur propose de venir vivre avec lui et son oncle. Leo, Sela et Amu acceptent mais Tusk, n’ayant aucune confiance en lui, préfère vivre seul dans la forêt. Yamato essaye de le suivre pour le raisonner, mais le Blood Game des Deathgalian ne fait que commencer…

Episode 2 : Kono hoshi wo nameruna (Do not underestimate this planet)

Even though they won against the Deathgalian, the Zyuman lose a Monarch Cube during the battle, thus they can’t go back to Zyuland. Yamato, feeling responsible for all this, invites them to live with him and his uncle. Leo, Sela and Amu accept his offer but Tusk, having no confidence at all, prefers living on his own in the forest. Yamato tries to follow him to convince him but the Deathgalian’s Blood Game is far from finished…
