Il y a quelques temps, Tsuburaya Productions a poursuivi en justice la Malaisie pour l’exploitation illégale de la franchise Ultraman sur leur sol.
Tsuburaya a gagné le procès, ce qui les rend officiellement et définitivement en charge de l’exploitation mondiale d’Ultraman. Même si la Malaisie a perdu, le pays n’est pas rancunier et a organisé une conférence de presse Ultraman avec l’aide de la Tsuburaya où ils ont parlé du futur de la franchise dans le monde. Voici ce que l’on en retient :
- Ultraman R/B sera officiellement diffusé en Malaisie.
- Ultraman Taiga sera officiellement diffusé dans le monde entier en 2020.
- Ultra Galaxy Fight, une mini-série exclusivement sur YouTube.
- La saison 2 d’Ultraman sur Netflix est en préparation.
- Shin Ultraman sortira en 2021 et sera le film Ultraman le plus cher de tous les temps.
