After few months of waiting, here is new informations about Digimon Adventure Tri, celebrating the 15 years of broadcasting of the Digimon Adventure series. But what is the link with Tokusatsu you say ? You would have absolutely right to ask you this since Digimon has little to do with the kind of our dear masked heroes.

First of all, to general surprise, Digimon Adventure Tri is not a series for television but a set of six movies with the first that will be released on next 21 November in Japanese theaters. One of the biggest changes from the original series is its vocal casting because as apart from the eight main Digimon, the voices of their human partners have all been replaced. It’s here where we will find our main link with Tokusatsu.

Then both have took different paths, Mao Ichimichi has made a reorientation inter alia in dubbing under the pseudonym of M.A.O and Junya Ikeda has mainly pursued his acting career by playing in particular the character Takeru Jakuzure aka Enjin Kishi Zen in the Garo : Yami wo Terasu Mono series.
