Se nommant réellement Rei Hino, elle est une jeune prêtresse d’un temple shintoïste situé au cœur de Tokyo et possède des dons extralucides qui s’avèrent très utiles en certaines situations. Elle est la réincarnation de la première Sailor Mars, décédée il y a des siècles en tentant de protéger le Silver Millenium de la Reine Serenity sur la Lune.

For those who have never heard of the Sailor Moon series (yes that exist even), Sailor Mars is the second Sailor in the series to lend a hand to the protagonist with quilts after Sailor Mercury. She is really named Rei Hino and is a young priestess of a Shinto temple located in the heart of Tokyo and has clairvoyant gifts that are very useful in certain situations. She is the reincarnation of the first Sailor Mars, died centuries ago while trying to protect the Silver Millenium of Queen Serenity on the Moon.
